The stack we actually use.
Everything listed here runs in production in our products today. We add technology when it solves a problem we have, not because it is fashionable.
- 01Frontend
- TypeScript, React and Next.js (App Router) with server components, Tailwind CSS and a small, hand-written motion layer. Accessibility and Core Web Vitals are part of the definition of done.
- 02Backend
- Node.js on Next.js route handlers and server actions, typed end to end with TypeScript and runtime validation with Zod.
- 03Databases
- PostgreSQL as the system of record, hosted on managed infrastructure in the EU, with encrypted connections and regular backups.
- 04Cloud infrastructure
- Vercel for hosting, edge network and preview deployments; object storage for uploaded media.
- 05Security
- TLS everywhere, Content Security Policy, strict headers, server-side validation, rate limiting, hashed tokens and tenant-level data isolation.
- 06Monitoring
- Error tracking, Web Vitals measurement and alerting on unusual activity.
- 07Integrations
- Stripe for payments and subscriptions, Resend for transactional email, Twilio for SMS, and domain and DNS automation.
Vendor names are listed because they are part of our products' data-processing documentation, not as endorsements.
